- January 22. 2012: Silje is in Stockholm where Alar Suurna is mixing her new album that will be released in March this year. One of the songs from this album is called "Ordinary Sadness"
- May 2011: Silje is working on a new album; this time not with a Band but with the two guitar-players she is touring with since a while, Hallgrim Bratberg and Håvard Bendiksen
- January 7. 2011: the Christmas-album "If I Could Wrap Up A Kiss" is in the Norwegian chart VG-Lista Top-40 of international albums since week 47 (2010); in these six weeks it peaked twice on rank 8. In the first week of 2011 the album did not return in this Top-40.
- December 6. 2010: the Metropole Orchestra is nominated for a Grammy Award for the 'Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist(s)' category for the song "Based On A Thousand True Stories", on the album 'A Thousand True Stories'. The arrangement was made by Vince Mendoza. The Grammy winners will be announced on 13 February 2011 in Los Angeles. - February 9. 2010: Silje will be touring with her two guitarists Hallgrim Bratberg and Håvard Bendiksen in Norway and Germany; she was on stage in this line-up in some concerts in 2009 in Norway
- August 14. 2009: the album ”A Thousand True Stories” will be released in Germany, Switzerland and Austria on September 25th 2009
- June 30. 2009: in the Norwegian album Top 30 (VG Lista) the album A Thousand True Stories stayed for 13 weeks, peaking on number one for two weeks; on May 25 the album re-entered this Top 30, where it stayed for four weeks again, disappearing again on June 22.
- May 13. 2009: A Thousand True Stories was in the international album Top-40 (Norwegians' VG Lista) for 13 weeks, it disappeared from this Top-40 after 13 weeks (on May 11.):
- March 3. 2009: the organisation Fabchannel - sending many video-streams with various artists - stops on Friday 13. March; therefore the Paradiso concert with the Metropole Orchestra Silje did last year will disappear from the Internet (also embedded on this website)
- January 7. 2009: the international release of the new album will be in the autumn of 2009
- December 5. 2008: the Norwegian album will be released by Sony; seven of the songs are arranged by Vince Mendoza; the international release shall take place by the (new) Unit Recordings label; Unit also manages Silje, and her album will be the first release of Unit Recordings (info websites Silje/Unit)
- November 25. 2008: the new album will be released in Norway on February 9. 2009, and will be named A Thousand True Stories; Silje has left Universal Music and signed to Sony Music; at the moment a radio single can be heard in Norway, called "Dreamers At Heart"; the album was produced with Pål Svenre who also co-produced Darkness Out Of Blue [info Sony BMG and Farojournalen]
